My Review
The exciting story of Lucy Tate continues in this sequel to I Know Lucy. Lucy has been on the run from the man who murdered her parents for years, but after falling for Zach she finally has a reason to settle down. But the only way to do that is to prove the truth and bring down a dangerous psychopath.
Set Me Free is a thrilling story of danger and romance. Lucy wants justice for her parents, but she's afraid trying to find it will cost her what little she has left to love in her life. Zach, along with the help of his best friend and uncle, is determined to help her. He'd do anything to keep his girl safe by his side.
Zach is the kind of guy any girl could hope to fall for. He's not perfect, but he stays rock solid by Lucy's side no matter how complicated or dangerous things get. Even when he has to stand by and watch her pull a con which involves Lucy getting way too close to another guy.
The only problem had with this book was the POV switch. It worked well in the first book, with Lucy in third and Zach in first. But this time around the author switched it up, putting Lucy in first and Zach in third. I get why she did this, because I Know Lucy is Zach's story and Set Me Free is Lucy's, but it was still a little disorienting for me.
This story will keep you on the edge of your seat from it's heartwarming beginning to its pulse pounding conclusion. Can Lucy and Zach survive the hunt for a cold blooded killer? You'll have to read Set Me Free to find out.
