Bryan Rainey is an author and artist. He is a family man, loves his future wife, daughter, and son. His daughter is not biological, she is his future wife's daughter, but she calls him Daddy.
He loves to write. It is a passion of his. Some would say an obsession, but those don't really support me when they call it an obsession.
His writing usually combines my influences of Epic Fantasy, Sci-Fi Sagas, Paranormal, Classic Horror monsters, Superheroes and more. With what he likes movie wise it would be hard for most people to understand some of my major influences in writing.
His influences include: J.K. Rowling, E.B. White, Homer, William Shakespeare, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Chris Claremont, Lara Hama, Margaret Weis, Tracey Hickman, J Michael Strasczynski, Todd McFarlane, Scott Lobdell, Timothy Zahn, Roald Dahl, Cassandra Clare, amongst others.
Excerpt from Starshot | Chronicles Episode I: The Unexpected Arrival:

FIONA RUSHES DOWN THE HALLWAY. She is dodging laser blasts. She sees an intersection and turns to the left. She, then, stops. Fiona is huffing and puffing.

Anger crosses her face. She takes a deep breath. Her strawberry blonde locks are disheveled. She removes her plasmasabres from her hip and ignites them. She underhand grips the plasmasabres.

She looks around the corner and laser blasts continue to whiz by her position. “Starr, where the hell are you?” She takes another deep breath. “Here goes nothing.” I have to get past them to get to the hangar bay.

She rounds the corner going back the same direction she came from. Fiona rushes at the guards firing upon her. She deflects the laser blasts with her plasmasabres.

“Get her!” Fiona hears.

The guards continue their barrage upon Fiona. She dodges and blocks the laser blasts. She deflects some of the laser blasts back at the guards. Some of the guards fall. She spins and attacks some of the guard’s head on.

She continues to attack them when her right hand gets hit from behind.

“Ow!” Fiona screams as she drops one of her plasmasabres.

She turns to see another wave of guards coming at her.

“Shit!” She mutters. Then, Fiona sees a ventilation grate opens above them. She sees Starragaar land in the middle of the guards. Fiona begins rushing towards the guards.

- Fi, get out of here! – Starragaar instructs her. – I came to save you. GO! –

- Yes, Mistress. Be careful! –

- See you at home! –

Fiona turns and rushes towards the hangar bay. Her anger begins to rise. Her right hand stings. She struggles to grip her plasmasabre with her right hand. She winces as she nears another intersection.

Fiona disengages her plasmasabres as she creeps closer to the intersection. She looks around the right corner. She sees nothing and continues on. Scanners spot her. An alarm begins to sound. Fiona turns her head to look behind her.

Then, she turns her head to look ahead of her. Entering the next intersection are to Golemoids. Their size blocks the hallway from people passing by. The two Golemoids stand side by side. They are five meters high with humanoid appendages. Their head only had one camera for an eye. Their arms are thinks with skinnier legs. Heavy repeater guns emerge from their forearms. Fiona skids to a stop. She looks around as they open fire. She dives to an inset area next to 18 columns off to her right.

The multiple laser blasts singe her long hair pulled into a braided ponytail with reaches down to the small of her back, Fiona is breathing heavily. She thinks of what she needs to do to get past these Golemoids.

“Golemoids. Shit!” Fiona is huffing and puffing. She reignites her plasmasabres once again. “Got to get past them.”
